An introduction to this websiteThe future:- This website will become a sort of super trading operation, involving a co-operative of people selling items together, where some of the members look after specific classifications. To bring this about a JVC, (joint venture consortium) will be established, initials bringing together a group of senior partners, then more partners will be added. You can find more on this by taking the links on the right of this page. It is being organised through ABAN. Now:- Now, it is principally the sale of property that is surplus to needs belonging to one family. Over the years we have, like some others, collected a great deal, partly through running a number of businesses, but also having a wide range of interests and living in large properties where there was the space to store rather then need to sell surplus items. So at this time this is private rather than trade sales and the bargains include many new items bought but never used as well as other items that have had some use. Our objective has become in many ways to clear space and make the most of this trading opportunity (we don't have the patience to go and sit around at car book sales for a year or two to move this), so we hope you will see bargains, and as our pricing is done on a guesswork approach, many items may be worth considerably more. In most cases it has just been dusted off and photographed, we haven't done more than that, we want to get rid of it at bargain prices, so if in the photo it looks like it could do with a bit of a clean, then that is what you will need to do. |
